Beyond The Fridge is an independent business, owned and managed by self taught artist, Michael Hughes.

Michael originally designed his art with chalk and slate but over the past 25 years he has progressed to digital, which he much prefers as there is no mess to clean up!

Behind The Fridge is all about words. From Einstein to Marx (Groucho) and the Beatles to Black Eyed Peas. Whether it's a favourite verse, quotation, song lyric, or a group of words, Michael can design with it. It can be a reminder of your hopes, dreams, achievements or even regrets, created into an original and individual artistic expression for your home, or as a unique and thoughtful gift for that someone special.

Each canvas is produced to exceptionally high standards with every image printed on high quality, waterproof, matt canvas, then mounted and hand-stretched around a high quality wooden box frame.

Every canvas is hand made by Beyond The Fridge with great care, supplied with corner wedges for the re-tensioning of your canvas and with dentate hangers so they are ready to hang on your wall.
