Bumblebee Cottage is a textile design label owned and run solely by designer-maker Julie Roger. Julie launched her business June 2010 and as it grows she is developing a larger range of handmade home accessories.

Working from home, Julie is running the business between looking after her two young daughters, so it can get a little hectic at times.

Julie has been creating and sewing for as long as she can remember, learning to sew on an old Singer sewing machine. Her talents run in the family as her mother was a seamstress and her grandmother’s family members were all Tailors. So it’s no surprise that Julie is so passionate about her craft.

Julie loves being in the countryside, surrounded by nature, and all her inspiration comes from the things she sees during her long walks in the Exmoor National park where she lives. Julie feels blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the country and it’s this country living style, inspired by cottage gardens, that she conveys in her designs

All home accessories in the Bumblebee Cottage collection are carefully handmade from high quality designer fabrics and thus offer excellent value for money.
