Eclectic Tea is a business created out of love for all things lovely. The concept for Eclectic Tea was born around the same time as founder, Ranjit Baki, had her first child in 2008. With childcare costs so high, Ranjit decided to leave her London office job and devote her time to being a mother. At the same time, Ranjit didn’t want to lose herself completely and this career break gave her the time to reassess her working life and ask the question “what do I want to be when I grow up?”

The answer was to create beautiful ceramics for the home, children and gift ideas, which enable people to acquire unique and personalised gifts for friends and family.

Eclectic Tea ceramics are also unique because of the process of designing them. Unlike the majority of earthenware designs, each Eclectic Tea piece is glazed twice by hand before the artwork is done using a specialist glaze which gives each piece a fresh, white appearance and allows the colour of the glazes in the artwork to appear very vibrant and sharp.

The result is a gorgeous eclectic collection of ceramics, perfect for a wedding, housewarming, unique new baby, Christening or birthday gift
