Emma Hadley Jewellery was founded in 2009 from Emma’s home studio in Surrey.
Emma has always had a huge passion for style and design and grew up in a creative household with an artist mother. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Fashion and Textile Management, Emma spent six years working as a Fashion Buyer for various London based retailers.

Despite an exciting and successful career in fashion, Emma always had a dream to make and sell under her own brand one day. The time came when made redundant at the height of the recent economic turndown. Not being content to sit around waiting for the retail industry to recover, Emma enrolled at the London Jewellery School to re-discover her love of creating and immediately fell in love.

The overwhelming response to early designs from friends, family and complete strangers confirmed the decision to create the EHJ brand and she hasn’t looked back since.

Emma is a huge believer in attention to detail and strives to make every piece of jewellery special. Each piece tells a story and the personal touch is what her customers really appreciate. The personalised styles were inspired by Emma’s own loved ones after wanting to give jewellery that would mean something truly unique to the wearer and therefore more than just an accessory. Other inspiration comes from the beautiful, delicate details in nature – particularly wings! She also has a passion for tokens of love, luck, karma and protection.

All the jewellery in Emma’s collection is handmade from high quality 99.9% pure fine silver and combined with sterling silver chains and fittings. Emma uses the art of Precious Metal Clay to make the fine silver pendants and charms. At least eight different processes are involved to turn the silver clay in to pure fine silver, every single one is done by hand, making it a true labour of love!

The designs feature Swarovski crystals, Fresh Water Pearls, and semi-precious gemstones chosen for their stunning colours and unique properties. All Emma’s pieces are true originals and arrive beautifully packaged in custom gift boxes and finished with ribbon – the perfect gift for someone special.
