About NICOLA HUNNINGS

We love them!” Emma & Cath, Swanky Maison.Jewellery designer, Nicola Hunnings studied at West Surrey College of Art and Design in Farnham and then went on to attend Portsmouth College of Art for three years, specialising in 3D Jewellery Design and achieving a very impressive Distinction.
Whilst studying at Portsmouth Art College, Nicola created designs for the Goldsmith’s Craft Council Competition that were displayed at the London Jewellery Fair, Olympia. Nicola also became a semi finalist in the Diamond Showcase Project and has since exhibited at a number of prestigious shows, across the UK.
On graduating, Nicola worked as a Jewellery Designer, taking a brief career break to bring up her young children. It wasn’t until 2008 that Nicola decided to set up her own Studio. Her collections have proved very successful and can be found in carefully selected boutiques and galleries throughout the country and now, of course, on Swanky Maison!
Nicola’s stunning designs are inspired by an idyllic childhood spent exploring the South Coast of England, peering into rock pools, making patterns in the sand and enjoying what she nostalgically recalls as uncomplicated and simplistic times, with lots of hidden gems.
