Based in the North East of England, Sarah Ford is an up and coming textile designer with a degree in Textile and Surface Design and a passion for hand embroidery.

Determined to go it alone, Sarah set herself up in business and with local funding, support and networking she has creating a growing business creating uniquely individual designs and products for home wares, gift and special occasions.

Sarah takes her inspiration from Haute Couture design, florals, foliage, jewellery and symmetrical patterns. Using a wide variety of high quality fabrics, dying techniques and embellishments she achieves a luxurious and aesthetically pleasing element to her work, with beautiful hand embroidery is a key feature of every design.
