About SIAN BOSTWICK JEWELLERY
Sian Bostwick is a craftsperson to her very centre, she simply loves to make things! Anything creative she can do with her hands intrigues hers. So she went away to study silversmithing, goldsmithing and jewellery design for three years, where she developed a passion for design. Sian is most happy when designing or working in the workshop expanding her skills and ideas.
From her workshop in Rochester, Sian designs and handcrafts all her Jewellery herself. Her designs are all original and come from her own creative imagination or illustrations, which she develops further, experimenting with materials and ideas.
Inspired by fairytales, myths and dreamscapes Sian creates high impact pieces with quirky, individual, dreamy and playful feel.
Sian’s Butterfly, Saturn and Flower pieces are made using anodised titanium mixed with sliver and gold. Titanium is anodised to bright and rich purple and blues, creating a wonderful combination of colour, elegance and style that contrasts beautifully with the precious metals. Her Tweet, Dreamscape, Flower and upcoming Wonderland pieces are made using some of her new workshop techniques. Sian continually experiments and developed her skills to keep her work original and relevant.
