Using reclaimed slate roof tiles and green Cumbrian slate from Honister Slate Mine, Naomi from Bolt Hole Art cuts the slate to size, drills it and then prepares it ready for the plaster to be added before carving a dramatic winter scene. The effect is a truly striking piece of artwork that will last, it can even be displayed in direct sunlight without it becoming discolored or faded or treated with a sealant and displayed outside – so this framed picture of three trees is ideal for anywhere in your home or garden
