Reclaimed slate has been cut into an interesting shape, prepared and coated in plaster before the image is carved to create a dramatic affect.  The slate creates a unique border which frames the scene beautifully. Unlike most picture artwork, it can be placed in direct sunlight without it becoming faded or discoloured, making it the ideal piece to add to your home.
